Home resales down 28% on Oahu

Sales and prices of Oahu's single-family homes were down for the first quarter of 2008.

The number of single-family homes sold in the first quarter was down 28 percent from the same period last year — 651 this year compared to 854 in 2007 — according to the latest report from Prudential Locations.

Condominium sales were 1,006, down 21 percent from 1,343 in 2007 $500 payday loan.

The median price for single-family homes was down 0.8 percent, from $625,000 in 2007 to $620,000 in 2008. The condominium price, however, rose 3.3 percent to $328,000 from $317,000 the same period last year.
