Written on May 17, 2008

Honolulu’s Waikiki Beach recently was named to the Forbes Traveler 25 most-visited U.S. tourist attractions list.

The beach was ranked No. 18 on the list, tied with New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Both attractions are visited by about 4.5 million tourists a year.

Times Square in New York City was the No payday advance. 1 tourist attraction, which sees an estimated 35 million visitors a year.

Waikiki Beach was also named to Forbes Traveler’s most over-hyped beaches earlier this year.
