Written on April 24, 2008

The Austin City Council is considering a three-year membership with the nonprofit Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization. As a result of the membership CTSI, whose mission is to advance the commercialization and global adoption of clean technologies and sustainable industry practices, plans to relocate its Cambridge, Mass., headquarters to Austin.

The City Council will review the agreement on April 24.

Under the agreement, Austin Energy will join CTSI for $195,000 in membership fees over three years. Austin Energy would be an executive founding member guaranteed payday loan.

As an executive founding member, Austin Energy will receive several benefits, including an annual identification of global best practices in the areas of energy, environment and climate management and an annual technology assessment report detailing key innovations. CTSI will also assist Austin Energy with advancing policy objectives at the national level and assist local recruitment efforts of clean technology companies.
